Studio Policies & Terms
Studio Policies & Terms — AMARÉ Wellness Studio
Please review these Studio Policies & Terms carefully before booking, purchasing, attending, or participating in any class, private session, event, workshop, room rental, or service at AMARÉ Wellness Studio (“AMARÉ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By booking a class, purchasing a package or membership, attending the studio, participating in any service, or using our website or booking platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Studio Policies & Terms.
1. Booking & Payment
- All classes must be booked in advance through our website, booking system, app, or any approved platform used by AMARÉ.
- Payment is required to reserve a spot in class. A spot is not guaranteed until the booking is completed and confirmed.
- Class availability is limited and based on the studio schedule, room capacity, instructor availability, and equipment availability.
- AMARÉ reserves the right to update, modify, cancel, reschedule, or substitute classes, instructors, class formats, room assignments, and schedules at any time when necessary.
2. Cancellation, Late Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- AMARÉ has a 12-hour cancellation policy.
- Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled class time.
- Cancellations made less than 12 hours before class are considered a late cancellation and may result in the forfeiture of the class credit and/or applicable fees.
- If a client does not attend a booked class, it will be considered a no-show and result in forfeiture of the class credit and/or applicable fees.
- Because AMARÉ classes have limited capacity, especially Reformer classes, late cancellations and no-shows prevent other clients from booking available spots.
- AMARÉ reserves the right to release a reserved spot to another client if a client does not arrive on time or is considered a no-show.
3. Arrival & Late Entry Policy
- Clients are expected to arrive on time.
- First-time clients should arrive at least 15 minutes early to complete any required forms, check in, get familiar with the studio, and prepare for class.
- For safety reasons, clients who arrive more than 10 minutes after the scheduled class start time will not be permitted to enter class, and the class credit will still be deducted.
- The warm-up, equipment setup, and class introduction are important for client safety. Late entry may create a safety risk and disrupt the instructor and other clients.
4. Refunds, Transfers & Expiration
- All purchases are final.
- AMARÉ does not offer refunds for drop-ins, class packages, memberships, private sessions, private events, workshops, room rentals, promotions, gift cards, retail items, or any other services or products, unless required by law.
- Class credits, packages, promotions, memberships, and special offers are non-transferable and may only be used by the person who purchased them.
- Packages, memberships, credits, and promotions may not be shared, transferred, resold, assigned, gifted, or used by another individual.
- All class packages, promotional offers, and credits are subject to their listed expiration dates. Expired credits are not automatically refunded, extended, transferred, or reinstated.
- Promotional offers, including New Client Specials, are one-time offers and may not be purchased more than once per client unless approved by AMARÉ in writing.
5. Membership Terms
- Monthly memberships renew automatically unless canceled according to the membership terms.
- Memberships require a minimum commitment period of three months, unless otherwise stated in writing.
- After the minimum commitment period is completed, memberships may be canceled according to AMARÉ’s cancellation policy.
- Membership credits do not roll over unless specifically stated in writing.
- Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may only be used by the registered member.
- Membership changes, cancellations, freezes, or pauses must be requested according to AMARÉ’s written policy and may be subject to approval.
- Failure to use a membership does not stop, pause, reduce, or cancel billing.
- AMARÉ reserves the right to update membership pricing, benefits, class access, or terms with notice when required.
6. Required Items
- Clients are responsible for arriving prepared with the required items for each class format.
- Reformer Classes: Grip socks are required. Barefoot or regular socks are not allowed.
- Mat Classes: Clients must bring a large towel to place over the studio mat or bring their own mat. If using an AMARÉ studio mat, a towel barrier is required for hygiene and comfort.
- Kangoo Classes: Long socks are required. Kangoo rebound boots have a maximum weight limit of 250 lbs.
- Clients who arrive without the required items may be required to purchase them at the studio or may not be permitted to participate. In that case, the class credit will still be deducted.
7. Kangoo Class Safety
- Kangoo classes involve rebound boots, cardio movement, jumping, balance, and impact-based exercise.
- Kangoo classes are not suitable for everyone.
- Kangoo classes are not recommended for clients who are pregnant, have serious knee problems, significant knee pain, recent injuries, balance concerns, ankle issues, back issues, heart conditions, or any medical or physical condition that may make rebound movement unsafe.
- Clients are responsible for deciding whether Kangoo is appropriate for their body and must notify the instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or concerns before class begins.
- AMARÉ reserves the right to deny participation in Kangoo class if we believe participation may be unsafe or if the client does not meet the required safety guidelines.
8. Health, Safety & Assumption of Risk
- Participation in Pilates, fitness classes, Kangoo, stretching, private sessions, events, and any physical activity involves inherent risk.
- These risks may include, but are not limited to, muscle soreness, strain, sprains, falls, dizziness, shortness of breath, injury, aggravation of existing injuries or conditions, or other health-related issues.
- By participating in any AMARÉ class, session, event, or service, clients acknowledge and accept these risks.
- Clients participate voluntarily and are responsible for listening to their body, working within their own limits, and stopping immediately if they experience pain, dizziness, discomfort, shortness of breath, weakness, or anything unusual.
- Clients are responsible for informing the instructor before class of any injuries, pregnancy, postpartum status, surgeries, medical conditions, medications, physical limitations, or concerns that may affect participation.
- AMARÉ instructors may provide general guidance, cues, and modifications, but each client remains responsible for their own body, movement choices, and safety.
9. Pregnancy, Postpartum, Injuries & Medical Conditions
- Clients who are pregnant, postpartum, injured, recovering from surgery, or managing any medical condition must inform the instructor before class begins.
- Some classes, movements, equipment, or formats may not be appropriate for certain conditions.
- AMARÉ may recommend that a client choose a different class type, book a private session, modify movements, or avoid participation if a group class is not appropriate.
- Group classes may not be suitable for clients requiring detailed individual attention, medical supervision, or significant modifications.
10. Group Classes Are Not Private Sessions
- Group classes are not private one-on-one sessions.
- In a group class setting, instructors may provide general instruction, demonstrations, corrections, and light modifications when possible, but they cannot provide full individual supervision or customized programming for each client.
- Clients with significant injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy-related concerns, chronic pain, medical conditions, or special needs may be advised to book a private session instead of joining a group class.
- Clients are responsible for booking classes that are appropriate for their experience level, fitness level, and physical condition.
11. Hands-On Adjustments
- AMARÉ instructors may offer hands-on corrections or adjustments to support alignment, safety, and proper form.
- If a client does not want hands-on corrections or physical touch, the client must notify the instructor before class begins.
- Clients may opt out of hands-on adjustments at any time.
- AMARÉ respects client boundaries and comfort.
12. Studio Etiquette & Conduct
- Clients are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and other clients.
- Disruptive, unsafe, aggressive, inappropriate, disrespectful, harassing, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Phones must be silenced during class.
- Clients should avoid loud conversations, filming, or any behavior that interrupts class or affects other clients.
- Clients must follow instructor directions and studio safety rules.
- AMARÉ reserves the right to refuse service, cancel bookings, suspend accounts, remove a client from class, or terminate access without refund if a client violates studio policies, creates an unsafe environment, or behaves inappropriately.
13. Personal Belongings
- AMARÉ is not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal belongings.
- Clients are responsible for their own personal items while at the studio.
